Back from Kentucky

We had a great visit to Lexington, KY over Memorial Day weekend. It is always great to catch up with good friends. Thanks to Doug, Jennie, Charlotte, Kathleen and Eleanor for their hospitality. Here are some pictures from our trip to Midway, KY. The girls explored the town while the boys cycled 27-miles in the nearby countryside. Too bad more shops weren't open for Memorial Day.

Baby Eleanor Sophia - 7 mths
We decided she looks like the Gerber baby.
A lovely little girl with clear blue eyes.
Soon she'll be pulling herself up and walking all over the house.

Kathleen Elizabeth- 2 yrs
She's learning her colors, our favorite expression
"It's pink" (everything is pink on the first try)
and our favorite book of the weekend "No David"
If you haven't read it, we highly reccomend it.
Added bonus the illustrations have lots of colors to quiz little ones with.

Here is Charlotte - almost 5!
She is the artist in the family who loves to color, paint and draw.
Thanks for the bike ride around the neighborhood
and baking yummy cookies for us all to enjoy!

Can't wait to see you all again!
