I like to think that when some of those special art pieces go to a new owner, they are "adopted" vs sold.  I definitely sold this piece, but I know the owner will love & cherish this special piece as much as I enjoyed making it.  It doesn't hurt that the new owner is my Aunt.

I made this piece while retreating in Italy.  It was a workshop to be taught by Terri Brush, unfortunately she was unable to be there due to injury (boiling water on her foot - ouch)

Rochelle Gaukel to the rescue! She flew in to take Terri's place.  A little copper, solder, sterling and beads and voila!  A necklace was born.

I loved the techniques that I learned and can't wait to continue to build some more  original pieces!  Stay tuned as I have two shows this fall.
